Mac Remote Control 1.1

March 30, 2005

As its name implies, Mac Remote Control is an application that allows you to control a Mac remotely. It shows you a list of the applications currently running on the remote Mac. You can quit any or all of them, and launch other ones. You can also restart, shut down or put to sleep the machine. New in version 1.1 is the ability to wake up a sleeping Mac. Finally there is a convenience built in to toggle the active state of OSXvnc.

If the Mac can be accessed over TCP/IP on your local area network (LAN) or over the Internet, and it's configured correctly, Mac Remote Control can control it.

Requirements

  • For the computer running Mac Remote Control, Mac OS X 10.2 or higher, including 10.3.
