Retro-Rockets
These pages contain some of the rockets that fired my imagination as a child - particularly the books below. I have a real fondness in general for the sleek rounded designs of the 50's, but I have a special sentimental attachement to these images from my childhood books.
You might find them interesting as art or design examples for NAR Fiction/Future category entries. I have also included a few modern examples of "Retro" rockets, such as the ship from Futurama. It isn't old, but it has style.
Copyrights are indicated in each section. Though some of these materials are old, the copyrights are probably held by someone. In every case, these images are intended as references to an original work for scholarly research, not as a representation of ownership by me. If you hold the copyright to any of these images and do not approve of this use, let me know and I'll remove it.
