I acquired this book when I was about twelve - a rescued library reject. It was already old at the time, but I loved its stylistic vision, and with Willy Ley, you can't go wrong. As illustrations go, these best capture what I think of as the industrial vision of spacecraft as immense hulks of thick boilerplate. They really "click" for me. There is clearly some Bonestell influence, but the ships are heavier and the style is a little less precise. The scene with Saturn from Titan is certainly similar to Bonestell's famous work. I like the choice to add people to the scene.
