With effect from January 2010, the requirements for the DFSRH ( previously DFFP) are changing.

The 3-5 day theory course is being replaced by online modules..not dissimilar to the RCGP ePortfolio and then a one day theoray course.

Most surgeries have travel clinics and GPs hardly ever give advice about travel. But at times, we might be faced with a request that needs sorting out then and there. The nurse practitioner in my surgery directed me to this pretty useful website for getting relevant info. It is run by NHS Scotland. There is a professional version of the site as well but that costs £100 plus VAT....thanks, but no thanks!
