Good enough as a preparation base for the last 4 of Lance Armstrong's Tour de France titles, Girona needs no further hype. MACstrong came across Mr. Armstrong on several occasions over the past few years as he rode on the medium sized mountains close to Girona. Els Angels, Santa Pellaia, Sant Hilari Sacalm - smooth surface routes with low traffic volume well known to the Division 1 professionals still in situ, as well as local aficionados. Miles and miles of flat road, coastal routes and a variety of climbs are available on our doorstep.
