Returning 



The time has come for me to rest. I would desire to continue to reflect upon my life, but life has grown weary and I must submit to its request for solitude.

I want to share a portion of The Tao Before the Universe by Pamela Metz.

Before the universe came to be,
there was something without form.
It is calm. Spacious.
Mysterious. Immutable.
Without borders. Always present.
It gave birth to the universe.

It is present in everything,
before and after,
without and within.
It returns to the beginnings
of every thing.

I have heard the call to Return. In December 2003 peace descended upon me as I was called to Return to the Source; to the calm; to the place of peace. I am ready to return. I have been blessed with a beautiful life because Diana united with me in my journey. We had a son. Parrish fulfilled our purpose.

(i found this reflection while sorting through old files in my computer. the document was created almost exactly a year ago, march 31, 2004. i believe he meant it to be his final reflections on life for the el dorado springs star, but never gave it to them.--parrish)
