hot damn? have you ever drunk hot damn? hot damn is a kind of a cinnamon schnapps, with no redeeming features. i have bad memories of the last time i drank hot damn--depressing ones rather than rowdy ones, i fear.
 




 


i like the way this comic leads in, even though it's probably necessary to have read steven king's salem's lot to understand it fully . . . one of the few of his books that i like and enjoy. i pretty much can't stand anything post 1980 king.

what can i say about this comic? really? president clinton? flying ferrets? americorps? vampires? XXXL size ferret wings? and some pretty crappy wash work, tell me you.

things were so much funnier pre 9-11. man, the laughs we used to have . . . they'd go on and on . . .

of course i drop the whole Hope subthread like a hot potato right here and now . . . see how i call it a subthread? it was what the whole damned comic was about--see! is about. and i couldn't be troubled with it for more than an episode at a time.

i'm going to have to fix that.
