winter of crows - page 24 (has anyone seen nathan fox?)

yes, i know, it says kasper hauser, but it was nathan fox Hope was talking about.

that ominous april night in 1995, she said to no one in particular, 'i'm going to go over to nathan fox's studio. he's supposed to be the new wonder boy in illustration.'

and nathan fox is good, worth five of me, at the very least, and probably more. he's an illustration and comics genius. i'm really not sure why i chose to mask his name . . . maybe i was just keep 'reality' from overwhelming the story too much . . . but that just pages after i called my old manager at the place that must not be named by his proper name!

now, why the crow of death is hanging over nips' apartment, i do not know. maybe he's lost track of christopher for the moment. however, nips is making a good point. the weather in kansas city is not that easy to predict; and very recently we were supposed to have an eight . . . or nine . . . or twelve inch snowfall, when we got just about three quarters of an inch. every television station was panicking about it, going full-bore power doppler on our asses.

nothing. nada. 'they couldn't predict the weather if they had tomorrow's paper.' indeed.
