first friday

well, as usual first fridays lived to disappoint. from the paint splotches by scot sinclair at the leedy-voulkos in Old Leedyville to the uninteresting pottery at the Pi Gallery next to grinders in New Leedyville, it was a dull as dishwater night. almost the only things we liked was allie's knitted cats at the Farm Gallery, the artomat at the Pi, and john raux's* miniature paintings at jacob's well.

the only up side was that the crowds were very thin, and the evening chilly. still, lots of changes all over Old Leedyville . . . and New Leedyville seems thin and sickly yet.
