Lamune (Week of 1/17/06)
Story: When Kenji and his sister Suzuka were little kids, after having moved to a quiet seaside town, Kenji one day met a girl on the beach who wore a fish barrette and wanted to play with him. Although he teased her with some hermit crabs that he had caught, they soon found out that they are actually next door neighbors. In fact, their houses were so close together that you could literally reach out to the person on the opposite balcony.
Fast forward to many years later. It is summer school. A daily routine is for either Kenji or Suzuka to jump across to Nanami's room and wake her up in time for school. Because Kenji and Nanami spend so much time together, you would think they were dating each other, or are husband and wife, as many of their friends like to tease them about. With the many summers that Kenji and Nanami have spent together growing up, this one in particular would be a special one for them.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (Week of 7/1/05)
Story: Nanoha Takamichi is a normal 3rd grader who comes from a warm, loving family and has wonderful friends. She never expected to take on the role of a magical girl, until one day, Yuuno, an archaelogist from another world discovered the jewel seeds that contained tremendous power. Unable to contain the unstable power that the jewel seeds posessed, he collapsed and hoped that someone somewhere would help him. On her way home from school, Nanoha comes across the injured Yuuno who has now taken the form of a ferret. As the power of the jewel seeds begain to manifest, Yuuno asks for Nanoha's help to capture the jewel seeds using a red stone known as the Raging Heart. Soon she becomes Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. As she takes on the role of a magical girl, she'll face some tough challenges, including another magical girl who is out to collect the jewel seeds for her own reasons, and keeping this entire ordeal a secret.

Spiral (Week of 11/28/04)
Story: Two years ago, Kiyotaka Narumi had vanished without a trace. He had apparently been involved in investigating something about a group known as the Blade Children. Ayumu, the younger brother of Kiyotaka since then has been haunted by the disappearance of his brother. Suddenly, some interesting cases of attempted murder have recently appear, and they all have involved people with information about the Blade Children. With each incident and case that Ayumu and his tagalong partner Kiyono the school reporter girl encounter, it'll bring him and his sister-in-law one step closer to the truth.
Gundam SEED (Week of 8/22/04)
Story: Kira and Athrun were childhood friends that chose to go their own separate paths. They are both part of a created race known as the Coordinators. As the war between Naturals and Coordinators begins by a single event of the theft of Mobile Suit Gundams on an Earth colony, these two will meet each other again, although under circumstances forcing two friends to face each other on the battlefield as Gundam pilots. As they both begin to understand the extent of this war, they'll begin to realize their own reasons for fighting and what they choose to protect. Eventually, they along with their friends and allies will shape the outcome and fate of mankind.
Nurse Witch Komugi (Week of 8/22/04)
Story: Komugi Nakahara is a cosplay idol who secretly is the magical
girl Nurse Witch Komugi, and with her sidekick MugiMaru defend our world
against Ungrar and his viruses that have escaped from Vaccine World.
When she's not busy fighting viruses, she seems to get herself into trouble
with her agent and any cosplay jobs that she gets, all while hoping to
capture her dream guy Kyosuke Date along the way.
Wind - A Breath of Heart (Week of 7/11/04)
Story: It's been 10 years since Makoto and his sister Hinata lived in
Kazune City. After their mother had recently disappeared, they came back
to this home city to start their lives anew, and hopefully be able to
find their mother. New friends and memories welcome the two of them back
to Kazune City, and Makoto will meet once again a girl that he made a
promise to a long time ago, with a harmonica and a familiar melody.
Kaleido Star (Week of: 5/23/04)
Story: "My dream is to become a star on the Kaleido Stage..." Ever since Sora Naegino was a little girl, she had always pictured herself as a star performing on the Kaleido Stage. From the creator of Sailor Moon comes the story of a girl with a dream, and the many challenges she'll face on the path to become a star. When Sora first arrives in the US, she is very excited to have the chance to audition, although some problems almost destroy her only chance. The owner of the troupe, Kalos, sees a definite potential in her, and gives her this opportunity. However, gaining the approval of the other members, especially by the lead star of the Kaleido Stage, Layla Hamilton, won't be easy. Through all of this, Sora learns many things about the life of a performer and about herself, especially through friendships, love, and the difficult moments she face along the way.
Ultra Maniac (Week of: 4/18/04)
Story: Nina Sakura comes from the magic kingdom and quickly becomes friends with Ayu Tateishi, a popular girl who has a crush on Kachi of the baseball team. When she uses her magical powers through a computer and a magical box to help out with Ayu's life, her spells don't always work perfectly, especially with multiplication spells, and attempting to increase Ayu's physical abilities. Even with as much trouble as Nina seems to cause, she always strives to do her very best, though both of them will have to deal with rival witches and the class president who's bent on exposing Nina's secret.
Hanaukyo Maid Tai ~La Verite~ (Week of: 4/11/04)
Story: Taro Hanaukyo's mother has just passed away and he is to go live with his grandfather. While saying goodbye at his mother's grave, a beautiful maid by the name of Mariel appears, saying that she has come to pick him up and bring him to the mansion. Arriving at the mansion, young Taro is overwhelmed by the numerous staff members of the mansion, all of them maids. According to Mariel, ownership of the estate has been handed to Taro by his grandfather.
Comic Party (Week of:4/4/04)
Story: Welcome to the world of fan comics (doujinshi). Kazuki never expected to be drawn into the world of doujinshi until Taishi lures him and his girlfriend Mizuki into a comic convention. The insanity, the fandom, the appreciation of an art form. That's what it's all about. And once you begin, there's no turning back. Thus is the life of a fan comic writer.
Galaxy Angel (Week of: 3/12/04)
Story: Milfuelle, Ranpha, Forte, Vanilla, and Mint are the five lovely ladies that make up the Angel Brigade. They are here to save the galaxy, one planet at a time! Their mission is to search for the lost technology. Unfortunately, they themselves don't even know what it is. With various jobs that the Angel Brigade receives and the search for the lost technology, there's always something that brings excitement to their lives.
True Love Story - Summer Days, and Yet... (Week of: 3/5/04)
Story: Hina for a long time has had feelings for one of her classmates Yuta. Yet it seems that he almost doesn't know who she is. The Ocean Festival of fireworks is coming soon, and she wants to be with him on that special day. But with other girls that he's spending time with, would he even consider her? Although he doesn't realize it yet, Yuta and Hina once knew each other a long time ago. A certain doll seems to bring back memories to him of a girl that he gave one to when he was little.
Guardian Hearts (Week of: 2/9/04)
Story: Hina is a member of the intergalactic organization known as Guardian Hearts. Her mission is to monitor and maintain the peace of Earth, while keeping her identity a secret. Unfortunately, she immediately fails one of her objectives when high school student Kazuya sees her change forms when arriving on Earth. She suggests that they live together so that they can keep her identity a secret. Kazuya who is caught off guard by the idea has no choice when his mother gladly invites her to stay. Kurusu, Chelsea, and Maya are among some of the other girls living in his house who each have alternate identities and special powers of their own. Craziness ensues as Kurusu, Chelsea, and Maya are out for revenge against Guardian Hearts, although they are unaware that Hina is actually a member of Guardian Hearts, not to mention competing for Kazuya himself.
Pia Carrot (Week of: 2/1/04)
Info: The premise behind the games and anime versions of Pia Carrot
are a theme restaurant that has beautiful girls as waitresses with sexy
uniforms, with the player or male protaganist as one of the few waiters
that work at the theme restaurant. The games themselves are structured
similarly to many of the popular dating sim games available in Japan.
As for the anime, the series was created in two versions: one being Pia
Carrot and Pia Carrot 2, which were the hentai versions, with the male
protaganist usually ending up in bed with each of the cute waitresses.
The other version being Pia Carrot 2DX, a retelling of the original Pia
Carrot 2, with most of the same characters plus a few new ones, including
a minor character from the original first series. This version has a
different storyline and does not contain any sex scenes. Finally, a Pia
Carrot movie called Sayaka's Love Story was released in Japan in 2003,
which featured an entirely new cast and a new location, with the story
focused on Sayaka and her feelings about a boy she likes that worked
with her until she transferred out to the new restaurant for the summer
season. The hentai versions of Pia Carrot are available on DVD in the
US by the company known as NuTech Digital. Pia Carrot 2DX and Sayaka's
Love Story have not been licensed and are still available on fansubs.
In the works is yet another video game sequel Pia Carrot 3 to this popular
series.
Happy Lesson (Week of: 1/18/04)
Story: Chitose Hitotose is ready to move back into his house, the only thing left to him by his parents. However, he never expected that he would have roommates, five women actually. Did we mention that they are his teachers as well? Mutsuki Ichimonji (Literature), Uzuki Shitennou (Fine Arts), Yayoi Sanzenin (school nurse), Satsuki Gokajou (Phys. Ed), and Kisaragi Ninomai (Science) have all moved into Chitose's house...as his mothers to take care of him. While all of them have good intentions in mind, this living situation may prove hazardous to Chitose's health, both at home and at school. Yet there's never a dull moment in their lives whether it's scientific experiments, parent teacher conferences, school festivals, class field trips, pageants, dating etiquette lessons, or just trying not to get killed in Chitose's case.
Green Green (Week of: 12/14/03)
Story: Get ready for a battle of the sexes. Deep in the mountains, the
boys academy Hane No Oto has just learned that a girls academy is coming
to attend classes to evaluate the environment for a possible merge to
a coed school. Immediately, the guys begin to get really excited, especially
a group of 4 friends, Bachigoo, Ichibanse, Tenjin, and Yuusuke. Yuusuke
out of the four tries to keep himself out of trouble, although he seems
to get dragged into their perverted schemes. The girls arrive to the
campus. Immediately, one of them, Midori jumps Yuusuke and happily greets
him. He doesn't seem to know who she is, but apparently she has been
looking forward to meeting him for quite some time as though there's
a link between them.
Maburaho (Week of: 12/09/03)
Story: Kazuki Shikimori attends Aoi Academy, a school for the elite
students of magic. However, as a student, he is considered below average
and girls won't even look at him. What he doesn't know is that he actually
is a descendent of several merging generations of some of the most powerful
magicians of history. Therefore, the power of the greatest magicians
is deep inside of him. One day, a beautiful girl named Yuuna Miyama walks
into his life. However, this is not the first time he's ever met her.
In fact, one day many years ago, Kazuki used his magic in order to cheer
her up and apparently made a promise that someday they would become husband
and wife. She has now come to him to fulfill that promise. This adds
to the fact that all of the sudden, girls are after his genes, including
the sexy Kuriko Kazetsubaki and the sword-wielding Rin Kamishiro who
wants to kill him, guys are jealous of Kazuki for having Yuuna as his
girlfriend/wife, and finally one downfall of his inherent gift...he can
only use his magic up to 8 times. After that, he will disintegrate into
dust.
R.O.D the TV (Week of: 11/23/03)
Story: Nene Sumiregawa is a famous author who recently has had a number
of threats directed towards her. Her bodyguards hired for protection
in a book promotion in Hong Kong are three sisters, Maggie, Michelle,
and Anita, the Three Sisters Detective Agency. What Nene doesn't know
about these three are that besides being book fanatics, they have the
ability to use paper as weapons and in any situation where they're in
a pinch. When discovering this fact, she realizes that there's someone
that she admires that has that exact same ability...
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien (Week of: 11/9/03)
Story: Narumi Takayuki is a high school student preparing for college
next year, though he doesn't seem to be putting much effort into it.
He has his friends Shinji and Mitsuki, that he hangs out with. Things
change when one day, Mitsuki's friend Haruka comes into their lives.
Haruka really likes Narumi, so Mitsuki hopes to get them together. Although
Narumi and Haruka's relationship starts off rocky and uncertain, it develops
into something wonderful for them. However, a fateful event will change
everything, as love and friendship will be put to the test of time for
this circle of friends.
Ai Yori Aoshi ~Enishi~ (Week of: 11/2/03)
Story: Two years have passed since fate had brought Aoi and Kaoru together.
Although Aoi's parents have somewhat accepted their relationship, they
still must keep it a secret as they continue to live in the Sakuraba
mansion with Miyabi, Taeko, Tina, and their new tenant Chika. More craziness
and fun are in store for all of them, as Aoi and Kaoru's relationship
continues to blossom. But what will ultimately become of our two lovebirds?
To Heart (Week of: 10/26/03)
Story: Many years ago on a rainy day, a little girl named Akari has
an accident of sorts, dropping all of her books which get soaked by the
rain. A boy named Hiroyuki helps her out by giving her his books, an
act of kindness that has made them friends ever since. She has never
forgotten this, even now since both Akari and Hiroyuki are classmates
in high school. Although Hiroyuki is somewhat of an apathetic person,
he seems to easily make friends with female students in their class that
are either looked down upon or are just trying their hardest to overcome
their own problems that they face. Even with the new friends that Akari,
Hiroyuki, Masashi, and Shiho will make and the experiences that they
share with them, nothing compares to the memory of that one day that
Akari will always keep close to her heart.
Azumanga Daioh (Week of: 10/19/03)
Story: A day in the life of a group of high school students is anything
but ordinary. From off the wall teachers to unpredictable cats, a 10
year old girl genius that's still a little kid at heart plus a ditsy
girl from Osaka, and many crazy experiences year round, life is never
dull for this group of friends.
Ground Defense Force Mao-chan (Mao-chan) (Week of: 10/13/03)Story: Earth,
or rather Japan, is under attack by...cute aliens?! Apparently they are
out to steal famous landmarks of Japan. It's up to Mao, Misora, and Sylvia,
three cute grade school girls recruited by their grandfathers who are
the Defense commanders of Sky, Land, and Sea in order to stop these cute
aliens. Unfortunately, their assigned missions don't always go as smoothly
as expected, even with a triad weapon known as the Defense Force Barrier
at their disposal.
Onegai Twins (Week of: 10/06/03)
Story: Maiku Kamishiro
has been living in a house by the lake where the incidents of the UFO
had occurred (Mizuho Kazami's arrival). His only memory of his past
with whatever family he had is a picture of him and a girl who is his
twin sister in a photo that was taken outside of the house that he
lives in. The events of the UFO catch the attention of two girls, Mina
and Karen who happen to have the same picture as well, and so they
travel to the town to find out about their past and if they're related
or not. "We could be related, or could we be strangers?..." That
is the question that these three will hope find the answer to
Hanaukyo Maid Team (Week of: 9/28/03)
Story: 13 year old
Taro Hanaukyo's mother recently passed away. He's off to Tokyo to go
live with his grandfather who to his surprise lives in a giant estate
and mansion. But instead of being greeted by his grandfather, he is
met by his loyal staff of many beautiful maids who give him a "passionate" welcome.
Things quickly become a bit overwhelming as he finds out he's their new
master, and that his grandfather left everything to him, including the
staff of maids at his command. Even more difficult is the fact that he
seems to have an allergic reaction to girls in general, except to one
named Mariel. Beautiful, kind, and gentle, she is the only one that can
truly reach his heart, as he adapts to his new life around him.
Kanon (Week of: 9/22/03)
Story: Yuiichi Aizawa returns to a snowy town he once remembered several
years ago to live with his cousin Nayuki. Shortly after, he runs into
a girl who looks strangely familiar named Ayu. As he begins to settle
into his life in this town, memories long forgotten will begin to unravel
and his past will slowly come together, with someone who was always waiting
for him..
Da Capo (Week of: 9/12/03)
Story: Juniichi Asaskura has the ability to see in people's dreams as well as to create sweets with his magic. On the island of Hatsune where the cherry blossoms always bloom, he will influence the lives of his sister Nemu, childhood friend Sakura, school idol Kotori, two sisters Mako and Moe, and others he'll form close friendships with, even with mysterious and unusual backgrounds that some of them have.
