After surviving the battle with Tsukuyomi and Chigusa
of the Kansai Association, Setsuna and Konoka catch up to Negi, Asuna,
and Nodoka. It looks as though some of the girls followed them. Arriving
at the Kansai Association Headquarters, they meet with the chief of the
Eastern Mages, Konoka's father. Looks like mission accomplished. Inviting
them to stay the night, Negi and the chief have much to talk about, including
the assasins and something about Konoka...
Negi and the girls seem to be having a good time at the
Kansai Association headquarters (Konoka's home). Little do they know that
Chigusa and her new partner are just outside planning their next attack.
It sure seems quiet around headquarters until Asuna and Negi realize that
everyone is turning to stone. Negi and Yue separately manage to escape.
They really could use some help. Yue decides to call Kaede back at the
hotel and Negi calls Konoka's grandfather back at the academy who is playing
backgammon with Evangeline...
With everyone turned to stone, Negi, Setsuna, Asuna, and
Konoka are the only ones remaining inside the Kansai headquarters. Chigusa's
new partner has an extremely high level of magic power which includes
the ability to control water. He manages to capture Konoka, but Negi,
Asuna, and Setsuna refuse to let Chigusa and her partner get away with
this.
As Negi, Asuna, and Setsuna catch up to Chigusa, she calls
up an army of demons (apparently somewhat perverted as well) to stop them
from rescuing Konoka. Asuna and Setsuna decide to stay and deal with the
demons, while Negi goes after Chigusa. She plans to tap into Konoka's
power to unleash a demon that was sealed away by the Thousand Master and
Konoka's father many years ago. Will Negi rescue Konoka and stop the summoning
in time?
When we last left our heroes, Negi was on his way to save
Konoka and to stop Chigusa from successfully completing the summoning
ritual, while Asuna and Setsuna had their hands full dealing with the
demon army. As Negi approaches the site, he is knocked out of the sky
by Kotarou, who had escaped out of the maze, and now challenges him to
a battle. Meanwhile, some stronger monsters appear before Asuna and Setsuna,
and seem to overpower them at some point. Who is hiding in the bushes
nearby with a sniper rifle? Negi agrees to a battle against Kotarou and
the two of them charge at each other. But does Negi have enough magic
power left to defeat him?
It looks like Negi, Asuna, and Setsuna have some backup
in their battles as Ku Fei, Mana Tatsumiya, and Kaede Nagase have joined
the fight. Kaede insists on fighting Kotarou leaving Negi free to rescue
Konoka. Time is running out as Chigusa is almost finished with the summoning
ritual. Approaching the site, Negi will have to get past her assistant.
Negi and Kamo come up with a plan. Under a cover of mist, Negi flies in
and dismounts at full speed to attack. Let's hope this works.
Having stopped Chigusa's new partner for the time being,
Negi rushes in to save Konoka. Unfortunately, he's too late as the monster
has successfully been summoned. Asuna and Setsuna arrive at the site,
and it doesn't seem like there's anything they can do to stop it. As she
swore that she would protect Konoka, Setsuna reveals her true form and
goes to rescue Konoka. Suddenly, Negi hears a familiar voice, saying that
he had been watching him fight. Who is this person?
Negi and Asuna hear a familiar voice calling out to them.
Looks like someone else has decided to join the fight. Negi and Asuna
rush in to attack Chigusa's assistant. During the course of the battle,
Evangeline appears along with Chachamaru. Seems that Evangeline has decided
to help Negi out. Can they stop the monster before it begins to destroy
everything?
Thanks to Evangeline's help, Negi and the girls were about
to stop Chigusa. Unfortunately, Negi suffered some injury during the battle
as he is beginning to turn to stone. Is there anyone with the power to
save him?
Today is the last day of the school trip. Negi, Evangeline, Chachamaru,
Asuna, Konoka, and Setsuna have a meeting with Konoka's father, Eishlen
Konoe (The Chief). The Library Club girls and Kasumi decide to tag along
as well. Arriving with Eishlen at his summer home, Negi hopes to find
some answers about his father's disappearance. Looking at a photograph
of Negi's father, Eishlen and their comrades, something seems to bother
Asuna. Maybe some answers will be in the package that Eishlen had given
him.
