Character Description:

Mana is most known for being a miko (priestess) at the Tatsumiya shrine. She is also known for having the 2nd largest bust size in Class 3-A. What people don't know is that Mana also works as a mercenary for hire. Surprisingly she knows much of the magical world even though she doesn't have magic powers herself. She even partners up with Setsuna to go on demon hunting expeditions. As Setsuna is very good with her sword, Mana is good with a gun. She can use her sniper rifle for long ranged targets and her handguns for close combat. Her shooting is quick and efficient; she never misses.

If you were to watch the anime or listen to the CD dramas you'd get the impression that Mana and Setsuna are partners and that Mana is the sensible one who keeps Setsuna from going overboard. This is far from the truth. For one thing, if Mana and Setsuna were really partners, Setsuna would be bankrupt in no time; Mana charges all for her services, including Setsuna. Not only that, but Mana as a mercenary for hire, she chooses to fulfill her assignments the way SHE wants to do them (meaning with some sort of gun) and anything outside of her tasks is nothing to be concerned with (such as the safety of others). In short, Mana's can be quite intimidating.

As it so happens, Mana is one of the few students who does not have an interest in her teacher Negi. She's actually got a crush on the captain of the Biathalon Club which is actually the only reason why she joined in the first place.
