Kaolla Su is just your normal extremely playful person. Keitaro finds
this out the hard way since Motoko, Kaolla's usual person to play with,
is at a Kendo camp. Keitaro can only hope to survive in Motoko's absence.

trouble happens in the Hinata House when Keitaro pokes his head through
the hole in his celing. It may have been just to return a book to Naru
but lucky enough she is changing. This causes him to try to repair this
hole, but while he's doing it he runs across a clue about his 15 year
promise in Naru's diary. This leaves him uneasy during the mock test the
next day and the fact that he promised his parents that he would go home
if he didn't do well on the test.
As
expected, Keitaro does horrible on his test. He decides to go home but
he doesn't want anybody to notice so he sneaks in to get his stuff. Unluckily
he's taken for a thief so he runs away. He goes to Tokyo U for one last
time just to meet up with Naru....
Its New
Years Day so everyone from the Hinata House go a temple for the first
visit of the year. While he's there he gets a bad fortune that causes
Naru and the others to turn against him. This can't be a good sign for
the new year.
Both Naru and
Keitaro are doing well in preparing for the Center Exam. Seeing this as
a good sign, everyone throws a party before the exam for good luck. Because
they have so much fun, they are late the next day. So they run as fast
as the can to the center for the test just to find themselves locked in
a truck....
Things aren't
looking good as Keitaro comes back from his exam. Everyone thinks he failed
it as he goes into his room to self-grade it. Will he make the cut-off
line and be worthy of the Tokyo U exam or will he fail just like what
everyone else thinks what will happen?
Keitaro really has
no luck at all, he gets sick so close to the exam. Since everyone cares
about him, they all want to read to him. As he falls asleep, he has a
dream about the girl from his promise. As Keitaro is about find out who
the girl is and .......
Its Valentine's
Day and its a day where guys will get chocolates from girls. Not wanting
to be left out, Keitaro makes a fake chocolate to brag about so he isn't
left out. This shocks everyone, especially Shinobu, that he would get
such an extravagant chocolate.
Its finally
the day of the actual Tokyo U exam. Both Keitaro and Naru are nervous
about this day. Can Keitaro get through the exam completely and pass it
despite his nervousness?
