Character Description:

Kazumi Asakura is the one student that knows, or will know, all of the ins and outs of Class 3-A (Negi's class). She's a reporter with the Mahora newspaper and will go to great lenghts to get a huge scoop. With a quick wit, fox-like eyes, outgoing personality and "pineapple head" as Akumatsu puts it, she closely resembles her Love Hina counter-part, Kitsune. She's very close with Sayo Aizaka, the ghost of 3-A; however, her relationship with Negi are on a friendly level.

Loves to find out the latest news at Mahora and is excellent at investigating this information. Even if it means by playing dirty and disguising herself to get the news. She has a vast knowledge of her classmates and utilizies it in her reporting. She founds out Negi can use magic however has decided to aid Negi in his quest to keep it a secret even though it's a hot story. She is also Negi's acting manager while Chamo, Negi's ermine friend, is the real manager. Asakura deciedes to help Chamo's "Probational Contract" scheme while 3-A is on a field trip in Kyoto.
