Downloads section - added mp3 for the latest single from the Mahou Sensei Negima soundtracks, Glow Wild, featuring the sports girls Makie, Ako, Yuna, and Akira.
Note: You have until July 2 to finish downloading the mp3 for the Seat Number song, which on that day will be removed from the site.
I just received my order today from CDJapan, which contained some of the Negima soundtracks that I've been collecting. And now, it's time for another contest:
Love Hina Site Contest #2 - in the order from CDJapan, I actually ordered two copies of the 1st pressing Glow Wild single, one of course for myself, and the other for this contest. The prize which I know a lot of you will be drooling over is the Negima single CD Glow Wild. And since is a 1st pressing, I checked just to make sure and the Makie Sasaki contract card is in there. So, the winner will receive the Magister Negi Magi! Mahora Gakuen Chuutoubu 2-A (Vol. 6): Undoubu Nakayoshi Yoningumi CD with the Makie Sasaki contract card. Just to let you know, the contract cards are really difficult to obtain, so with this you have a chance to win one of them. Here are the rules:
- Write up short chapter summaries for each chapter of Vol. 2 of the Love Hina manga (chapts. 7- 15). They do not need to be extremely long, just a short paragraph or two for each one similar to what I've been writing for the Negima summaries for uploaded chapters. If you want an example, check out Manic's (our winner from the previous contest) chapter summaries for Vol. 1in the Manga Guide section. You must e-mail me with your submission and your name that you like to be referred to on the site by 11:59 pm Eastern July 4th at: aquastar831@yahoo.com. The summaries of the chapters written in the body of the e-mail are fine. Entries after this deadline will not be accepted. Each person's name will be placed in a pot for the drawing, and the winner will be notified by e-mail, with their submission to be added to the Manga Guide section
- If you've already won a prize from previous site contests, you are not eligible to enter, as to give everyone who hasn't won yet a chance to receive a Negima prize.

Mahou Sensei Negima/Magister Negi Magi - chapter 47 now available. As Negi, Asuna, and Setsuna catch up to Chigusa, she calls up an army of demons (apparently somewhat perverted as well) to stop them from rescuing Konoka. Asuna and Setsuna decide to stay and deal with the demons, while Negi goes after Chigusa. She plans to tap into Konoka's power to unleash a demon that was sealed away by the Thousand Master and Konoka's father many years ago. Will Negi rescue Konoka and stop the summoning in time?
Media Lists - updated Negima Japanese release Vol. 4 covers. Thanks goes out to Roberto for contributing a scan of the Vol. 6 cover from the Japanese release.

Media Lists - updated A.I. Love You covers, added new Negima contract card for Satomi Hakase, who will appear in the next soundtrack. Thanks goes to Evolution 685 as you were a little quicker than I was once again in finding the scan. Added the covers to the first 4 Negima soundtracks. Will add more on subsequent updates. Soundtrack for Vol. 6 with the sports girls including Makie Sasaki was released today in Japan. Will be adding song from the soundtrack in a later update. Next chapter release on next update.

Mahou Sensei Negima/Magister Negi Magi - chapter 46 now available. With everyone turned to stone, Negi, Setsuna, Asuna, and Konoka are the only ones remaining inside the Kansai headquarters. Chigusa's new partner has an extremely high level of magic power which includes the ability to control water. He manages to capture Konoka, but Negi, Asuna, and Setsuna refuse to let Chigusa and her partner get away with this.
Downloads section - I have decided to go ahead and temporarily remove the Love Hina music video that I had made sometime back, in order to free up web space, especially for some new items for download. For today, we have the recent soundtrack single for character Chisame Hasegawa, along with the Mahora Class 2-A Seat Number Song. The seat number song will be in zip file with the scans of the liner notes and text file that the distro group #mst included with the release. Definitely look at the liner notes with the class roster as you listen to the song, if you want to get an idea of what each character will sound like in the upcoming anime version. With info included in a previous update, see if you can pick out or remember which characters are played by VAs Yui Horie, Natsuko Kuwatani, Kikuko Inoue, Akemi Kanda, and Mai Kadowaki. I can only keep this up temporarily since the file is big for an mp3, with the song lasting approximately 10 minutes. I will try to find an alternate server for some of these downloads so that they may remain on the site. For now, I will leave the Seat Number Song on the Downloads section until the end of this month.

Love Hina site Contest #1 - thank you for those who submitted their Love Hina manga summary entries. Hopefully, even more of you will participate next time. The winner for this contest is Manic, who will receive a new copy of Vol. 1 of Negima! Magister Negi Magi released by Del Rey/Balantine books. Be sure to look for his summaries in the Manga Guide within the next few days. Next chapter of Negima will be released later this week.

Mahou Sensei Negima/Magister Negi Magi - chapter 45 available for download. Negi and the girls seem to be having a good time at the Kansai Association headquarters (Konoka's home). Little do they know that Chigusa and her new partner are just outside planning their next attack. It sure seems quiet around headquarters until Asuna and Negi realize that everyone is turning to stone. Negi and Yue separately manage to escape. They really could use some help. Yue decides to call Kaede back at the hotel and Negi calls Konoka's grandfather back at the academy who is playing backgammon with Evangeline...

It is said that there exists millions of species of life on Earth. Eventually all of them will face extinction...
One night as Takeru and Ryo are on their way home from making deliveries for the store, they see a column of light in the sky that splits into two directions in a nearby forest. As they enter the forest, they see a glow within one of the trees, in which emerges a girl. Suddenly they are attacked by a strange monster that is after the girl Hikari. A dark power awakens within Takeru as he transforms into a beast and fights it with no restraint. As the monster fatally wounded crawls away, it comes face to face with Hikari near the river. When Takeru and Ryo find Hikari, they find the monster torn to shreds, and Hikari all alone scared. Sworn to protect her, Takeru along with Ryo and their friends want to show Hikari about many things in this world. At the same time, another girl Akari will be a part of this story about the beautiful and the ugly, unsightful things in the world we live in.
This is the newest series from the people who brought us Mahoromatic, and it's obvious as the character designs are by Kazuhiro Takamura, and most of the production team are the same people who worked on Mahoromatic. This series is currently available on fansubs, and has not been licensed yet. In case you don't know, Studio GAINAX's past projects include Wings of Hommenaise, Neon Genesis: Evangelion, His and Her Circumstances, FLCL, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, Mahoromatic, and the sister stories of Sister Princess RePure.

Next chapter for Negima to be uploaded tomorrow instead along with updates to Media Lists and Downloads section. Today's update is some news about newly licensed anime series, coming out of the Pacific Media, A-kon convention and the Licensing convention in New York.

Definitely an interesting selection of recent series that will be coming to the US soon. And this is just the beginning as Anime Expo approaches, where I'm sure a lot of the really popular series will be announced.
One more thing: if you're distributing any of these titles such as for fansub groups, it is recommended that you remove them from your servers.

Mahou Sensei Negima/Magister Negi Magi- first chapter of Vol. 6 now available. Sorry for the delay. After surviving the battle with Tsukuyomi and Chigusa of the Kansai Association, Setsuna and Konoka catch up to Negi, Asuna, and Nodoka. It looks as though some of the girls followed them. Arriving at the Kansai Association Headquarters, they meet with the chief of the Eastern Mages, Konoka's father. Looks like mission accomplished. Inviting them to stay the night, Negi and the chief have much to talk about, including the assasins and something about Konoka...
