Mahou Sensei Negima/Magister Negi Magi - chapter 49 now available. It looks like Negi, Asuna, and Setsuna have some backup in their battles as Ku Fei, Mana Tatsumiya, and Kaede Nagase have joined the fight. Kaede insists on fighting Kotarou leaving Negi free to rescue Konoka. Time is running out as Chigusa is almost finished with the summoning ritual. Approaching the site, Negi will have to get past her assistant. Negi and Kamo come up with a plan. Under a cover of mist, Negi flies in and dismounts at full speed to attack. Let's hope this works.

Don't forget that Vol. 2 of Negima being released by Del Rey comes out on Aug. 3rd.

Another site contest is on the way. Also, Character section currently under development. Will try to open that section in about a week or two. Looking for writers to contribute character profiles for Love Hina, A.I. Love You, Mao-chan, and Negima. Naru Narusegawa of Love Hina has already been claimed. If you are interested, please e-mail me and let me know which character(s) you're interested in contributing profiles. Suggestion would be to list your top 3 choices in case there are mulitple requests for the same character.

New Negima single to be uploaded on next update.

Mahou Sensei Negima - The Video Game? - yes, that's right. It's been reported that a PS2 game is currently being developed for Negima by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan. Here's a link to the page, along with screenshots:

Don't be surprised as Love Hina had a few video games on Game Boy Advance and even Love Hina Gorgeous on PS2. Will post more details as more info comes up.

Mahou Sensei Negima/Magister Negi Magi - chapter 48 now available. When we last left our heroes, Negi was on his way to save Konoka and to stop Chigusa from successfully completing the summoning ritual, while Asuna and Setsuna had their hands full dealing with the demon army. As Negi approaches the site, he is knocked out of the sky by Kotarou, who had escaped out of the maze, and now challenges him to a battle. Meanwhile, some stronger monsters appear before Asuna and Setsuna, and seem to overpower them at some point. Who is hiding in the bushes nearby with a sniper rifle? Negi agrees to a battle against Kotarou and the two of them charge at each other. But does Negi have enough magic power left to defeat him?

More summaries in Manga Guide on the next update.

Manga Guide/Story - summaries for Vol. 2 added from Riceboii, our winner from the recent site contest.

I didn't have enough time to upload the next chapter of Negima. I will try to get it loaded onto the site by tomorrow. I apologize for the inconvenience. Negima! Magister Negi Magi chapter 48 to be uploaded on next update.

This week's recommendation is a new series that just began its run as both an OVA and TV series in Japan:

Anime Recommendation: Wind - A Breath of Heart

Story: It's been 10 years since Makoto and his sister Hinata lived in Kazune City. After their mother had recently disappeared, they came back to this home city to start their lives anew, and hopefully be able to find their mother. New friends and memories welcome the two of them back to Kazune City, and Makoto will meet once again a girl that he made a promise to a long time ago, with a harmonica and a familiar melody.

Wind - A Breath of Heart was based on another popular bishoujo PSX dating game created by minori and like Sister Princess was featured in G's Magazine. Currently, there is a short Christmas episode that was a bonus with the video game, and the OVA and TV have just begun with their release in Japan, with the production being done by Radix and Rondo Robe (Geneon Ent.) for the TV series and KSS and VENET for the OVA version. Both the OVA and TV series are available on fansubs, with a possibility of an upcoming license for US release by Geneon Ent.

Love Hina Site Contest #2 - we had a few more entries for the contest this time. The winner for this round is Riceboii! He will walk away with the Magister Negi Magi! Vol. 6 soundtrack with the Makie Sasaki contract card. Congratulations! His chapter summaries for Vol. 2 of the Love Hina manga will be added on the next update. Keep watching for more contests on the site.

To answer some questions about the contract cards, they are really difficult to get as they are a limited printing that are included in the first pressings of the Negima soundtracks. Sites where I've found the CDs for sale are http://www.cdjapan.co.jp and http://www.jpophelp.com. As far as I know, the first pressings for most of the Negima soundtracks are out of stock, and these CDs are the only way I know at this time where you can obtain the cards.

Archived News has been updated. June news updates have been moved to Archived section. Love Hina manga Vol. 2 summary to be added on next update. Next chapter for Negima will be uploaded as well.

Currently working on Characters section to include characters from all of Ken Akamatsu's series: A.I. Love You, Love Hina, Mao-chan, and Negima.

Anyone looking to have their web page linked as an affiliate site for the Links section, I'm still taking requests. E-mail me at aquastar831@yahoo.com for submissions or for any questions that you have.
