A cheerful and well liked third year student among the school. She is always energetic and stands up for what she believes in. The powerful student council wants her to join them, and she constantly rejects their offers because she’s not interested. Sayuri is one of the only girls in the series who doesn’t fall for Yuuichi, and her high energy and all around cuteness gives this somewhat depressing series a happy lift.

She is Mai’s best friend, and even though they are total opposites in terms of personality, the friendship between the two girls makes them inseparable. There seems to be more to being Mai’s best friend than just a simple friendship, and at any time, could take a turn for the worst.
