Nayuki is Yuuichi's cousin who he hasn't seen for 7 years. Her house is what Yuuichi is staying at while he is in town. She had trouble waking up early in the morning and has plenty of alarm clocks that was suppose to wake her up....but it didn't work. She loves cats, although she doesn't have a good past with cats. Nayuki is also the captain of the school's track team and goes to the same school as Yuuichi. As a matter of fact, they were even classmates and in the same class. She and Kaori are bestfriends and the only daughter of Minase Akiko.

Since she was a child, Nayuki managed to grow up like any other child, never missing out on the warmth feeling of love within her family that consisted of only her mother. However, she is not very assertive, and afraid to tell Yuuichi about her feelings. She is generous, but as any human beings are, she has a feelings of jealousy that arise in anyone. And despite this, Nayuki proves stronger than what she might think, and works hard to help her mother at all times.
