Lightbearers

Description: The purpose of this course is to equip students to view life from the Biblical Christian Worldview. A "worldview" is the philosophical framework through which we interpret all areas of life. From a Biblical Christian perspective, students will study theology, philosophy, ethics, biology, psychology, sociology, law, politics, economics and history. Through reading assignments in the textbook, supplementary materials, video presentations and class discussions, students will develop a strong Biblical framework through which they can analyze current issues.

This will prepare Christian students to obey two Scriptural commands: 1). "See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception according to the traditions of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ." and 2). "Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you."
