Drivers Education

*Last class date is May 4.
Description:
The state of Minnesota requires 30 hours of classroom instruction (and paid enrollment in a 6 hour behind the wheel program) in order to obtain a blue card that enables a student to take the written test necessary to obtain a driver's permit. This class will meet those necessary requirements including practice testing. 15 weeks x 2 hours = 30 hrs. Should a student need to make up a missed class, they are free to do so at no additional charge at SDS' business location: one block north of 62 on Portland. Classes are offered every day except Friday and Sunday so a student may make up the missed class at any time that's convenient. Once they have completed this portion of their driver's education, students may either continue the behind-the-wheel lessons with Bart (for $245.00) or purchase them from another driving instruction company.
