Inner Beast

Drowning in my own elation,
Overcome by revelation,
My true and great emancipation.
My soul has been released.

A smile shines so gracefully,
A voice wrought with serenity,
The eyes that sparkle down on me,
And make me seem the least...

Her face so gleams of pearly white,
And chases darkness from the night.
Her soft embrace and grandeur bright,
Has quelled the inner beast.
