Hello, Chris Zappe here. I'm the living persona behind this site and ZG Design. I am a digital media arts instructor at Desert Academy and Warehouse21 in Santa Fe, NM and speciallize in animation generally (3D specifically). I am a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a procrastinating outdoorsman, motorcycle enthusiast, Christian, and enthusiastic learner who secretly wishes that he could walk through walls. No particular reason. This is the only page where I'll bore you however, with the short and tragic story of my rise to obscurity and frighten you with pictures of myself. If you're tenacious and looking for more, I occasionally make appearances on Facebook for free. =)
This site is split into three major branches: ZG Design: my once and former pseudonym in the world of digital art. 3D illustration, print media, layout, and begging for employment were just some of the many disciplines we excelled in. The Vortex: a swirling maelstrom where off-the-wall ideas struggle for manifestation. What ends up here is kind of like the fat you skim off the top of your soup in the evening. Scrawl: This is where you will find the short stories and poetry. Yes, I've been known to write poems. It's been a while, though.
