These text files are provided for reference purposes only (Copyright and terms of usage as for source file). Titles marked by a asterisk (*) have been typed from manuscripts (or microfilm, or photocopies or facsimile editons). Not all texts are complete, and few have been proofread. It goes without saying that any references found in them will need to be checked against the printed editions they are based on. Many of the texts are also still works in progress, and will be superseded by later versions. I hope they might nevertheless be of use. A Plea: If you are a Sanskritist or Indologist then your main work evidently is the reading and understanding of Sanskrit texts. Since it often takes time to understand a text no time is wasted by typing (even slowly) as one reads. Sharing these electronic texts (at such sites as GRETIL or, Indology) is of inestimable value to other scholars, nothing is more useful for the understanding of a passage than a parallel.
