Kent Ranger Sailing

Kent Ranger 20 Association
Hello,
Greetings from Randy & Greta Watkins. We are the owners of a 1978 Ranger 20 sailboat, Sun Kissed. The hull number is 398 and she is registered in Texas. Sun Kissed was built in Salt Lake City, Utah. We purchased her this past year and have been doing some work to get it ready to sail. The boat came in good condition. The basic work we did was to replace the canvas hatch cover, replace the knotmeter and compass and install a new electrical system (Blue Sea) and a jell battery. I have also ordered a new Suzuki 6 h.p. 4-stroke l/s motor. Our primary sailing area is the Texas Gulf Coast, bays, and inland lakes. I also plan on sailing in Louisiana with friends from the Lake Charles Yacht Club. I've enjoyed the Ranger 20 web site and have made use of the technical articles.
Our past boat was a Montgomery 15 which was an excellent boat. I'm looking forward to sailing the Ranger 20 and hope to meet some of you in the future.
