• 26: Blake Island: No host. (This is a change.) Some will arrive Friday (or even earlier!), but as usual Saturday is the big day. Plan on an hors d'oeuvres pot-luck at 5 p.m.--somewhere. (The shelter situation is somewhat straitened; the beach unit is closed for "maintenance".) Bring your electric heater--there's power on the docks now. (Actually, we may not need heaters; the weather is expected to be fine.) 23 September 2009

• 31: January Breakfast /!\ UPDATE: CHANGE OF VENUE

  This is where we used to hold January Breakfast years ago.  Old Country no longer reserves those rooms at the time we need, so we'll try this place again.
  
  . Last year's event organizers, please have a bit of something to say about your event.
  . If you have pictures to share, bring them on a thumb drive or a disc; we'll probably have a couple of computers there.
  . Boat Show: This Breakfast date coincides with the run of the big dual-venue (i.e., wet 'n' dry) Seattle Boat Show. Although in the past it has been a fairly common practice to attend both Breakfast and Boat Show during a single trip into town, for a few recent years some of us have attended the boat show on the Saturday before Breakfast instead, so we can start earlier at the Show. Check with your friends.
