The Ranger Sailing Season Begins April 21st in Kingston
Ahoy Rangers! Our first gathering of the year will be in Kingston on the weekend of April 21st. The facilities in Kingston are good and the marina staff is friendly. Apple Tree Cove provides beautiful sunsets.
Saturday’s dinner (6 p.m.) will be at the best restaurant in town – The Luna Bella, the favored pizza and Mediterranean food place just up from the marina.
Kingston now offers slip reservations. Call 360-297-3545 to reserve yours. As of April 3rd, there were plenty of slips available for that weekend. The only other group expected is the Port Townsend Yacht Club. Only half of the slips are reservable but the marina staff says there should be plenty of reserved or non-reserved slips available.
We plan to arrive Friday evening and will be in slip 26. We hope to see you there!
Ahoy, Fellow Sailors.
As always, this time of year is here before we know it. It's nearly time again for our Memorial Weekend Cruise to Gig Harbor, May 26, 27, & 28.
For moorage, you have several choices:
There is still no fuel for sale in the harbor (on the water).
Lee and I are planning on having everyone out or up to the house on
Sunday. We will burn something on the BBQ, and will have snacks and
munchies. (I'll have the hot tub cranked up so bring your suits if that
sounds good.) We will run shuttle from Jerisich Park starting
about 2:00 p.m.
Please let us know if you plan to attend so we'll know about the food.
Also, if anyone needs maps or any other kinds of directions, please
call, e-mail, or whatever, and I'll get back to you.
We are looking forward to seeing you all.
