Welcome to the public portion of the Kent Ranger Sailing Association's web site, where you can learn a little about the boat behind our group, a little about the group itself, and about how to join the group.
Ranger 20s and other Association boats at Blake Island
Our Ranger 20 Racing and Cruising Association has entered the 21st century as an active cruising club composed of some of the nicest people around. In recognition of some changes, and to reduce confusion with Ranger Yachts of California, we have begun referring to our little family as the "Kent Ranger Sailing Association".
We (now) welcome members who own Ranger 24s and 26es and other brands and styles of boats, because we have come to spend less of our collective time in one-design racing and more in cruising our beautiful waters. Some of the owners of other boats moved up from Ranger 20s, and some of them came in already owning other boats.
We like to keep track of our beloved Rangers, so if you have one
that
we don't know about, and if you don't mind, tell us about yours--her
name,
sail number, and colors, and from whom you bought her if you have that
information.

This is an all-volunteer organization with yearly dues of $10 to
cover
the costs of mailings and some of the special events we sponsor. It's a
small price to pay to be kept informed of Ranger outings and support
Club
sponsorship of such major undertakings as our annual National
Cruise.
This bulk of this site--a private notebook, log, and scrapbook maintained by club members for the entertainment, convenience, and support of club members--is not of interest to the public. However, please be our guest and feel free to visit the links you see on this and subsequent pages.
