Centerboard Loss & Replacement

Although the swing centerboards for the 20- and 26-foot boats may originally have been thought to be more or less foolproof, several of each have been lost during recent years.

The details of the two systems (20- and 26-foot boats) are somewhat different, but they are alike in their pivots' not being pinned to the hulls as some other swing-keel boats do. We have pictures of the underside (minus the CB!) of the 26, and pictures of the underside of the 20 (with the CB in place), but no pictures of the centerboards themselves.
