Grandma Rocks!

My Mom Rocks! She is going to be 75 in a month but you would never know her age (sorry for spilling it here Mom.) Last night she emailed us a photo of one of her latest cross-stitch projects. Of course she does cross-stitch, and makes quilts, and knits - just like you would expect a good grandma to, but then she can take photos of her projects with her digital camera, upload them to her laptop computer and email them to us. She's crafty and techno-savvy!

Her latest project is actually an update to one she "finished" years ago. It's a framed piece with a picture of a child representing each one of her grandchildren. She has this hanging over the piano in her living room. Here's a picture of the original. She customized each of the children a bit with their hair color and the objects they're holding: Taylor is playing with a black puppy like their family lab, Cameron is holding a violin, Devon has his favorite white bear...

All was fine until we went and added two more grandchildren to the brood. After we adopted Kai, whenever we visited she would comment about how she was going to have to fix this. Here's the picture she emailed us last night...
