Back in November, Children's
House International (our adoption agency) asked if we would
be willing to participate in a local radio program.
November was National Adoption Month, and this was part of
the agency's PR efforts around this event. We had been home
with Hui-Hui for about two months at the time and were
happy to take part. I was able to get a recording of the
program from the radio station and have posted it here. I
have edited out the ads, news and weather and put the
program in MP3 format. It's kind of long so I have broken
it into two parts. Our interview is in the first part. The
second part includes a conversation CHI's Executive
Director, Deborah Price, and her 14 year old daughter
Alyssa who was adopted from Romania as an infant.
Conversations with Heidi Hawkins, CHI's Administrative
Assistant and Vietnam Program coordinator are heard in both
segments.
