The original intent of
this site was to journal the process of adopting our son
Kai. We completed Kai's adoption and received him into our
family in September 2005. We have continued blogging as a
way to journal his life and development.
The nature of blogs is that newest entries appear at the
top and older entries are pushed down the page. Because the
adoption process is such a dramatic and separate process
from everyday life, we have reformatted those entries into
two different journals: Pre-Travel and Travel. These are now formatted so that they
read as stories from beginning to end, and can be read
by clicking on the links at the right of the
page
