At first, the teams were only asked to create one original image, finding the rest of the images on the web. After discussing copyright and fair use of images and noting how well the student-created images were turning out, I decided we should completely replace the web images with student-created images. However, the students had become attached to some of the images of uncertain origin, so we reinstated some of them in the spirit of educational fair use. The more complex computer-generated images were found online, but the majority of all the images were created by the students.
