Last week when we were waiting for our delayed
train, I recorded some of the sounds one hears in a railway station in
India.
Mostly what you hear in this clip are two guys
going up and down the platform next to a stopped train, trying to sell coffee
and biryani. I think you can also make out the guy selling water, he's saying
"vellam, vellam, vellam," which is Malayalam for "water, water,
water."
