The Cincinnati Post: We shall not speak of the other paper which suffocates the city. The Post has more current local news and well-written stories anyway. Enjoy it while you can; The Post will be no more as of December 31, 2007. (You can thank The Paper That Shall Not Be Named for that!)

Hotwire: I used this site, out of desperation, to find a hotel for my Stephanuary 2005 New York trip. Costs were going up on the other travel sites, while rooms were selling out. I wound up getting a 3 1/2 star hotel near Midtown for $164 a night. The same room/hotel was going for around $279 through Travelocity.

Research Tools:

Yahoo Groups: A virtual smorgasbord of email discussion groups covering a variety of topics: fiction writing, medical issues, technology, recipes, small businesses, scrapbooking, rubberstamping, religion, and more. You name the subject... there's probably a Yahoo Group for it. If not, you can always start one.
