Sara McGrail

Hi, I'm a Freelance Drug Policy Specialist working out of London in the UK. I have 20 or so years experience in the drugs field (which makes me feel very old, but which also makes me a good bet if you want some independent support).

I am committed to working with services, organisations, individuals, communities and governments to help collaboratively develop sensible, rational and effective collaborative approaches to drugs and drug use. I believe strongly in the importance of open public and professional debate about the issues relating to substance use.

Here you'll be able to find lots of useful information about UK Drug Strategy, local partnership working, needs assessment and local policy analysis. You'll also find a few bits and pieces about me, some commentary on the day to day .... and some movies of my dog.

All of the content on this website is free, and you are welcome to share it under a Creative Commons license. You'll find most of my updates on policy in my blog. If there's anything you'd like me to look at or blog please drop me an email by hitting the get in touch link at the bottom of each page.
