Chippenham Nyckelharpa meet and the Shepley Spring Thing - Simmo7t
We managed to get four nyckelharpas together at Chippenham and we videoed the occasion! We were also caught on camera at Shepley. A cold and wet spring weekend after a very hot couple of weeks. Trying to keep all the instruments in tune and not squeaking was difficult! A great weekend though!!
Sheffield Folk Festival - Simmo7t
Jonny had been suffering from a rather severe but of illness and only made
it on stage by the skin of his teeth. A rather scared Vicki had made plans
to go on stage with a a fellow guitar shaped bazooki playing friend, (thanks
James owe you one!) but Jonny recovered sufficiently to go on stage and perform
(albeit sitting down and with a bucket behind the curtain)

Ipswich Big Night Out- PiperVix and Mansfield Folk Club - Hillsher
We recorded the evening at Ipswich. At the Mansfield Folk Club Jonny had just
broken a string and was in the middle of changing it. Vicki had decided to
play a quick tune to pass the time. It was really ready for the stage and Jonny
was very out of tune. That's the way the cookie crumbles!
