Hello. I'm Stuart, an associate editor at the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists (www.thebulletin.org) based in Chicago. I also do some freelance writing.
For those who might not know the Bulletin, it's a global security and policy magazine, which was founded in 1945 by Manhattan Project scientists to warn the public of the dangers and possibilities posed by the new nuclear age.
The mission of the Bulletin is still the same, although as times have changed so have the dangers, which now include climate change and biosecurity.
In my past life, I lived in San Francisco and worked at Wired Magazine as a research editor and contributing editor from about 2000 to 2004. Previously I earned a master's degree from UC-Berkeley's Journalism School in 1999 and a BA in English Literature from Kenyon College in Ohio in 1995.
