The Kimbro-Kimbrough Genealogical Quarterly was written and edited by the late Clyde Kimbrough. All of us owe a massive debt of gratitude to Mr. Kimbrough and everyone who helped compile them.

Robert B. Kimbrough has transcribed all the issues of the old Kimbro-Kimbrough Genealogical Quarterly, and has donated his transcriptions to this site.

These are ASCII text files (they can be opened on a PC or a Mac) but I had to compress them in order to make them available here. You won't be able to read them on the web pages -- you'll have to download them and then read them in your word processing program. In order to unstuff them, you'll need software (which you may already have).

I have a Mac. These files were compressed using a program called STUFFIT by Aladdin Systems -- so they have an ".sit" extension. However, they can be decompressed by PKZIP (according to Aladdin Technical Support). Aladdin also makes decompression software for the PC -- it's FREE and can be downloaded from the Aladdin Web Site.

For AOL users, John Nichols placed these files (several years ago) in the Genealogy Section of AOL. They were in the Lineages Library 2.

I re-compressed these files on 4 July 2001 with Aladdin DropStuff 5.5. They opened with Aladdin Stuffit Expander 5.1. If anyone has any problems downloading, unstuffing or opening these files (in your word processor), please send me an e-mail.
