Students in third grade are not yet formally identified for the A.G. program. However, they do receive direct services with Mrs. Krutsch, the A.G. teacher, through a program called Explorers. Three or four times a year, Mrs. Krutsch teaches whole group lessons to all third grade classes. Students who do particularly well with this lesson may be chosen to participate in a small group with Mrs. Krutsch for several weeks. These are usually language arts units. Mrs. Krutsch also works with mathematics flexible skills group on a weekly basis.
We don't have a schedule for 2007-2008 yet, but I will post it when it is ready.
