We found this postcard for the movie "Wimbledon" whilst we were out walking a couple of days ago.
I am so interested in the fact that the movie's name has been replaced with "Mac Luoi Linh Yeu" (Love in the Net). As Russell commented, tennis is a very popular sport in Vietnam, so we assume Wimbledon would be known, but a little bird tells us it isn't. This title sounds a lot more romantic, though!
What happens with foreign television and movies is that they are dubbed over in Vietnamese. It is quite funny because there is no effort made to try and match similar voices to the characters. Only ONE person does the voices for EVERYONE. Seeing a macho man speaking whilst hearing a dainty woman's voice, for example, is quite disconcerting!
