This lake is directly across busy Kim Ma from where we live, and right next to the Daewoo Hotel.
This shot is looking towards Kim Ma, and you may be able to make out the very busy traffic.
Quite a number of the lakes around Hanoi have these corny swan-shaped paddle boats. To the right of the picture below is actually a little zoo/fun park. On Sundays, in particular, the fun park is in full swing, and all available swans are out on the water.
BTW, the FPT people regularly encourage Russell to take me out on the swan-boats. "Very romantic" they say, whilst Russell tries not to laugh at the thought of trundling around in a big swan!
