Corner Table
I built this as a small TV table for the corner of the dining room in our 1st house. The sides are maple and top and legs are bird’s eye maple. Rockler generally doesn’t have a great selection of bird’s eye maple, and I’ve yet to try ordering specialty woods over the internet, which is why I went with regular maple for the sides. To get the gently tapered legs, I made a tapering jig for the table saw. I made the drawer pull on the table saw, very carefully holding it by hand for most of the cuts. It has a single coat of hand–rubbed clear poly.
