San Francisco 2008


The Hubby and I didn't have much time to spend in the City by the Bay (just six hours after the convention and before our flight home), so we decided to focus on an area we hadn't seen in... [mumble] years... Chinatown. I had forgotten the narrow streets and hilly terrain (yes, that's true of all San Francisco, but still... the streets seem to get narrower once you cross into Chinatown. And someone made the hills steeper since we were in the city last... ;-) )

The crowded sidewalks in Chinatown were a stark contrast even to pedestrian-oriented areas of Los Angeles. I managed to find a lovely little jade dragon figurine to decorate my cubicle. But creaky knees insisted that we end our exploration all too soon... another time, perhaps.
