I've come across the recommendation to put your keyboard through the dishwasher several times on the internets. Not sure if I have the courage to do it yet. However, Coudal Partners has an amusing but well-cut video of their experiment with a keyboard in the dishwasher. (Hint: wrap the end of the USB cord with a baggy and tape it so it doesn't come off.)

Verdict? Works well, if you don't mind a couple of your F-keys being eaten by the dishwasher. ;)
