This homepage is about the present life of Simon John as he spends a year or so in Japan. I admit it - I am terrible at correspondence. Even those of you with email accounts aren't hearing from me as much as you should. So this homepage is for all of you. That is to say anyone who is interested in what is going on with me right now here in the Land of the Rising Sun.

I've divided it all up into seven sections:

• News - this is the stuff which is happening to me now and SHOULD be updated quite regularly.
• Chiba Uni - this relates to my study etc.
• Friends - an account of the various friends who have come to visit, are in Japan right now or I have made since I have been here.
• Places - a look at my regular haunts in the Kanto region around Chiba, Tokyo and Yokohama.
• Travel - Places I have been to so far this time around.
• Other - well this covers anything else and at present that is discussion of my part-time work, my homestays here in Chiba and my recreational pursuits.
• Contact - this has all the different ways you can contact me.

Right now I am using Yahoo Photos to store the photos for various reasons so each page has a link to a relevant album offsite. From the albums, just use the back button on your browser to go back to the page you were looking at.

You know it's amazing how quickly time flows by. This is my life as it appears right now but within a few months it will be changed and I'm not even sure yet what the next form will take. In any case, I hope you enjoy it.
