Kayak camping between Moidart & Arisaig

April 2005 OS 40 GR xxxxxxx Launch Loch Ailort. Camp, then cross Sound of Arisaig to old fort then return

Leaving Loch Ailort Arrive at beach with grassy platform Unpacked and set up camp Went out for evening paddle Returned to find 14 kayakers heading for same spot!!!! They went elsewhere, leaving us in peace Packing the next morning Paddled across Sound of Arisaig The lump is an ancient Fort according to OS map The Fort from above Certainly gives superb views Paddling back into Loch Ailort
