According to PTC, the most common cause of Pro/E crashing on rounds on Windows, is due to the graphics driver.  This is because there are so many different configurations of computers and type of graphics cards which can be used for Pro/E on Windows.
Therefore they suggest you always update to the latest driver available.

I can confirm that doing so has resolved some issues, with rounds crashing as well as poorly rendered graphics.
