Funnier moments of the trip

Well, yes the Cambodia report is overdue but it will be coming soooooon. In the meantime, let me give you a few of the more humorous uses of English that we've come across. I would think that the intended meaning in the following expressions is obvious but if you need a little help, I'll send on the actual meanings lower down...
1. In a Chiang Mai restaurant, (Thailand): Fride chicken, pork or beef with vasil veabves.
2. same place: Cup sandwich
3. same place: choice of your flavarite.
4. On a road sign in Burma: " Golden City Hotel - 200 feets"
5. Thailand Tourist Police brochure: "Do not take care the leaving things of other persons"
6. same brochure: "Therefore, for the public peace, the Royal Thai Police requests the people be cautious about their illegally playing fireworks."
7. Entry to a buddhist shrine in Burma: Foot wearing prohibited.
8. From our guide in Burma to Pierre: "Tomorrow we get up alimony" Pierre: "What is alimony?" Guide: "Alimony, alimony, you know, maybe 6 o'clock."
9. Swiss tourist from the adjacent room during breakfast: "I hope my snorkelling didn't bother you last night"
10. Restaurant menu in Bagan, Burma: Cocktails: Tom Calling, John Caling
11. same menu: Drinks: Coca Cola Coke
12. Menu in Sihanoukville, Cambodia: Crop Monsieur, Crop Madame
13. Menu, Rangoon, Burma: " Fired Tail of Hamilton's Crap" and "Punking soup"
Real meanings:
1. Fried chicken pork or beef with basil leaves
2. Club sandwich
3. Choice of your favorite
4. Golden City Hotel - 200 feet (down the road)
5. Do not carry packages for other people.
6. Therefore, for public peace, the Royal Thai Police requests people to be careful while illegally using fireworks.
7. Wearing shoes prohibited.
8. From our guide in Burma to Pierre: "Tomorrow we get up alimony" Pierre: "What is alimony?" Guide: "Early morning, early morning, you know, maybe 6 o'clock."
