We have our new teacher, Ms. Alexis Mark, an inspiring woman with 25 years of teaching experience in a chuch school setting. We will also enjoy the services of Lee Pine a 2005 graduated from St. Paul's School for Girls who will be interning with us.
Ms. Mark has an extensive
list of certifications including: Royal Academy of Dance;
Kinder-Dance, Zumba Gold Dance Fitness; Shaehah Ministries
International Tambourine; Authur Murray Dance Studio,
Israeli Folk Dance, and Dance Educators of America. She has
taught drama, tap, jazz, lyrical ballet, pointe, modern,
folk, and interpretive dance at Mark Your Step,
her home studio, as well as at the Rock City Church and
Academy in Towson. She has won awards for her creative
choreography that includes the props children love, such as
ribbons, tambourines, fans, or even hoola hoops!
Classes will be held on Thursday afternoons in Macdonald
Hall (the perfect dance floor!)
