Finally....we did it

So this past weekend Sean, Sciullo and I finally lived out our dream of attending Wrestlemania. It was easily the best weekend of my entire life thus far, and even holds a flame to senior trip, and spring break senior year. We've been trying to go to Wretlemania for a few years now, and we finally were able to pull it off thanks to a travel package offered through the WWE. A few months ago either Sean of Jeff suggested we get the travel package, and we all agreed on Silver. This was the best choice I've ever made. Period.

We were set to leave early Friday morning, around 9am, so Sean came over Thursday night and slept over. We both hardly slept at all in anticipation of the upcoming trip. By the way, I'll have pictures posted in a few days, I just need to get the cord from my pops to hook the camera up to my computer. So anyway, Friday morning we went to Sciullo's and picked him up and started on our 5 hour journey to the motor city, Detroit, Michigan. I gave Sciullo the luxury of shotgun for the entire trip up there, because I was just enjoying the view from the back seat the entire way up. Lemme just say this, Ohio is the most boring fucking state in the world to drive through. No hills, no mountains, nothing...just boring as hell. At one point in the ride we all hated each other, but then no more than 30 seconds later loved each other again...it was just a joke tho, haha. The ride up was mainly filled with Wrestlemania predictions, the sentence game, and tunes by those guys known as "The Beatles."

We eventually made it to Detroit, no thanks to Sean's crazy swerve driving, haha. We found our hotel and I damn near shat myself when I saw it. The place we stayed was more of a giant complex with 5 buildings, 4 of which were offices, and one was the hotel. We got there around 3 and our room wasn't even ready yet, so we just had to sit in the lobby with our luggage. Sean and I talked to this cop outside with the best "I'm going to fuck around with you" attitude, and parked his car. So we get back and Sciullo has all of our gifts/tickets from WWE ready. We waited a little longer in the lobby, and then our room was finally ready...on the 56th floor of the hotel. By no means am I afraid of heights, but holy shit was this crazy to look down from. From our window you could see across this lake to Canada, or into the city, where Ford Field and the baseball stadium were. The view was amazing, and we could see for miles upon miles. Our hotel was so bad ass though, the beds were comfortable as fuck...but there was only two. Oh well, we came up with a plan so each person would have a bed to themselves one night. We put all the food Sean and Jeff brought on ice, which we used our sink for, and a bag in our tub, haha. At that point we just kind of layed around the hotel and waited for the time we'd be leaving for the world premiere of Steve Austin's movie, "The Condemned." Throughout this I'm gonna mention some funny things that happened, that I wrote down..here's the first. I was being an ass, and sat on Sean, which was followed by this comment, "I felt your asshole separate nicely on my leg." Probly won't be funny to anyone else, but I guess you just had to be there for it. So we were hanging out and just talking about how awesome the weekend was gonna be and I said to Sean, "dude, we're here...why did we do it..." and before Sean could say anything, I said, "cuz we wanted to." We were also talking about next year's WM, and how we want to go, and for those of you who don't know, Sean may be getting a nice chunk of change pretty soon in a lawsuit, so we talked about going next year and Sciullo says to Sean, "we'll see how far your lawsuit takes us." We all got a good laugh about it. So this was all while we were getting ready and putting on our suits for the movie premiere. We hop on the DPM(Detroit People Mover) and head over to the Fox Theater...or so we thought. We make our way over to the theater and see a line of gothic looking kids wearing all black...Sciullo says, "man this is a rough crowd." We agree, and stand in line...a few minutes later I hear an oh so familiar whistle...I look over and see the crazy vendor from Mellon Arena, TC. We were blown away that he was in Detroit, but we loved it. So we're standing in line, and eventually realize...we're standing in line for the STONE SOUR concert, wearing suits. No wonder all the people looked at us funny. So we went into the Fox Theater and we're finding seats, and Sean takes a picture. Here we go...security guy comes over and takes Sean outside, makes him throw his batteries away for his camera, bummer. We saw a bunch of wrestlers n shit, and that was sweet. The movie ended up kicking ass, so go see it. After the movie we got back on the DPM and headed back to the hotel. While on the DPM Sean says, "dude where do we get off." Without even thinking, and not trying to be a dick I immediately shot back, "same place we got on." This got a laugh from the other people around us, and I felt bad, haha. We ended up back in our room and were hungry so we went and looked for some food, saw a guy walking through the lobby by chance with pizza, and got the number. Funny side story...Sean got hit on by a gay guy Thursday who gave Sean his number...for some reason, Friday comes, and it was still in Sean's pocket. So we were talking about it later and I said, "he had this gay mans pocket in his number." Ooops...I fucked up, haha. Eventually we got tired and went to sleep in preparation of Saturday mornings activities...and then something happened around 4am....but that's saved for the next edition. Suckers.

Good day for now.

WrestleMania 21 was amazing.

April 3, 2005 is a night that will live in wrestling history forever. For those of you who don't know, Wrestlemania is the superbowl/stanley cup/world series of wrestling. Storylines form all year and they are built upon until they come to a head at Wrestlemania. It's the damn showcase of the immortals. Well, the only immortal around obviously is Hulk Hogan. He was inducted into the WWE hall of fame last night, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone get a bigger ovation than he was given. It was at least 5 minutes before he had a chance to tell the crowd to be quiet so he could give his speech. Anyway back to WM. The night started out with a moderate match.
Rey Mysterio v. Eddie Guerrero: Pretty decent match other than a few botched spots, and Mysterio's stupid ass mask that kept coming loose.
Overall grade: B

The next match on the card was one of the greatest things I have ever witnessed.
Money in the Bank Ladder Match: First of all, let me say that Benoit and Shelton Benjamin are fucking kings. Benoit left the match with a separated shoulder, busted eye, broken nose, and possibly more. He did a falling headbutt off of a ladder....who does that? Kane, did nothing....Benjamin, won harder than anyone in the match with all his crazy antics.....Christian, took a beating.....Jericho, .................and of course Edge, who did absolutely nothing and won the match....tool.
Overall grade: A

The next thing was incredible. Muhammad Hassan came out and started shit with Eugene and was beatin his ass when all of the sudden.....here comes "The Immortal" HULK HOGAN!! John, Sean and I just about lost it. We were screaming and goin nuts, I felt like I was 10 or something, but I loved it. Anyway, he came out, ruled ass all over Hassan and his cheap manager, and could have possibly made his last appearance in the WWE.

Legend v. Legend Killer: 12-0 was The Undertaker's Wrestlemania record going into this match. Not even the legend killer, Randy Orton, could end Taker's undefeated streak. The match ended with the usual tombstone from The Undertaker, but not before "Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr. came down to help out his son. Taker also kicked out of an RKO, which is mighty impressive.
Overall grade: B+

Women's Title: .........................
Grade: C-

Kurt Angle v. Shawn Michaels: I have waited oh so long for this match, and I loved every second of it. I hate Michaels with all my heart, and anyone who knows me, knows this. Angle of course is our hometown hero and all, so naturally I'm behind him 100%. He's also probly the best wrestler there ever was. The match started out all technical and stuff, which is Angle's style so I was enjoying it. The match quickened up a bit and things were going in full swing. This was easily the best match of the night, and it only got better as time went on. Just when you thought it was over, Michaels kicked out, or Angle kicked out of a pin. just when I thought it was over and Michaels had refused to do the job to someone....AGAIN....he pulled an unexpected move, and actually TAPPED OUT....YES, THAT FUCKER TAPPED OUT! WOOOO!! Angle is forever a champion in my mind, and he has gotten revenge for vince and michaels screwing over Bret Hart, since it's well known that Angle is a HUGE Bret Hart fan.
Overall grade: A+(match of the night)

Piper's Pit: This was awesome to see the Rowdy one and The Rattlesnake back in the ring, and oddly enough, together. They exchanged words back and forth before Carlito Caribbean Cool came down to the ring and got his ass beat by both of them. Winners.

It all went downhill from here, so I'll just give the match name, and the grade I gave it...maybe a reason or two.

Sumo Match: Dumbest thing ever, Akebono beat Big Show...yay..
Overall grade: C

JBL v, John Cena: BORING....I'm just glad JBL is out of the title picture, at least I hope he is....
Overall grade: B-

HHH v. Batista: Meh...everyone knew who was going to win...and it's not like HHH won't win the belt again at Backlash, so whatever....
Overall grade: B

As a whole, this WM kicked more ass than any has in the past 10 years I'd say. One can only wonder what's in store for next year....

Oh yeah, NHL meeting tomorrow.....wOOt!......Even tho nothing will come from it....:-\

Son of a...

Does anyone still read this? If you do, IM me and let me know because if not I probly won't post anymore.....but anyway, since my last update...we ended up getting the best tickets for No Way Out...East Igloo, Section 3, Row E, seats 7-9. They cost us 88 bucks a piece, but whatever dude...we're gonna see the first ever barbed wire cage match in WWE history. Pittsburgh always gets the coolest matches. First they gave us the 2nd ever ladder match, which I saw live. Then 3 years later, arguably one of the best matches in WWF/E history, the Hell in a Cell match between Mick Foley and The Undertaker. Now, we have the barbed wire steel cage match, which should be sweet...even though it's between JBL(gay) and The Big Show(semi-gay). That's the only match confirmed so far, so the rest of the PPV better be good. I just want to see the Undertaker again, because he's the shit. Also, since my last post, The Steelers fucking lost again to the faggot ass patriots....we just can not fuckin beat those dick tags in a playoff game. Enough of that though, that's in the past.

The NHL is meeting again today...which most likely will have the same result, no season. I'm sick of the NHL and NHLPA meeting and bein like "oh look, we're talking, look at us"...then an hour later "oh, yeah...umm...no further talks are planned"....then the fuckers do the same thing the next week! Just agree on something, and give THE FANS what we want...GOSH.

I'm goin to sleep.....

Ok....

Holy fuck..

All I can say about RAW is WOW....the show kicked so much ass, other than the fat hicks behind me spillin their pop on me and my first roll of film breaking....it kicked ass on a platform that I didn't even know existed. Everything that could have gone right in the show, did....and everything we didn't expect to go right after.....did.........we fucking met Rico, Maven, Spike, Dvon, Bubba Ray, JIM ROSS, AND SHANE MCMAHON!!!!!....we met them down the road, and got all of their autographs and took pics with them.
All that can be said about this night, is WOW...I'm really still in shock that it happened like it did. To start out with Sciullo almost getting screwed....and then ending in us almost staying at the hotel with some 21 year old kids...this was possibly the best single night I've had in ages...wow....Ace, you missed out buddy, I don't think stealin ur parents car was worth missin this....good night everyone....I will sleep oh so peacefully....
